  • 8 years (1988-1996) as programmer (PMD-85, IQ-151, Atari 800 / Basic, PC-XT, PC-AT/286, PC-386, DOS / Borland Turbo Pascal, Windows 3.11 / Delphi, Windows 95 / Delphi)
  • 10 years (1996-2006) as Full-Stack IT Engineer (Software Engineer / Developer, Database Architect / Designer / Admin, Hardware Engineer, Network Architect / Engineer, FreeBSD Admin, etc.). That's how it worked back in 90's. Ful-stack engineering.
  • 8 years for Dell Global Infrastructure Consulting (2006-2015 with pause in 2010-2011) as Technical Arcihtect, Consultant, Designer focused on Data Center Infrastructure (Dell Servers, EMC Storage, Compellent Storage, Dell Networking / Force10, VMware Virtual Infrastructure / VMware vSphere, etc.)
  • 1 year for Cisco Advanced Services (2010-2011) as Cisco UCS Technical Designer / Engineer
  • 7 years form VMware Professional Services Organization & Customer Success as Technical Account Manager supporting most demanding VMware customers based in Czechia (DHL, Novartis, CSOB / KBC Group,  Ceska Sporitelna / ERSTE Group, etc.)

David has the bachelor degree of computer science and master degree in information science.

Experience:

At the beginning of IT career, David was working as a programmer, database administrator, unix administrator, network administrator and software architect. Before joining Dell, David worked for CISCO Services as a Cisco UCS Architect, providing datacentre consulting services for private and public IaaS cloud environments.

David’s current focus is on Technical Architectures of holistic compute, network and storage infrastructures usually abstracted by VMware vSphere.
